Athletics is an important and exciting part of the educational process at Dallas Christian School. Students are provided with many opportunities outside the traditional classroom setting to participate in athletic competition. All student athletes are encouraged to compete in multiple sports programs. There is not a more appropriate setting for our young men and women to learn the value of accountability, hard work, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship than in the classroom of athletic development and competition.
Our goal is to assist parents in educating, equipping, and encouraging their children to influence the world for Christ. Dallas Christian is committed to developing student athletes who not only enjoy success in the athletic arena, but also in their spiritual walk as believers in Christ Jesus. By emphasizing a Christ-like character and a standard of excellence rooted in God’s Word, we strive to help each athlete grow as Jesus did-in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
Forty teams make up the Dallas Christian Charger athletic program. Among those are 18 varsity level sports that participate in TAPPS district and state competition. Twenty-two other athletic teams make up our Middle School and Junior Varsity teams.
